The contest is open to all Yavapai County residents ages 5 & up.

Be sure to create a design that celebrates America and its 250 years of history!

Submission Requirements:

To be considered, all submissions must meet the following criteria. Failure to adhere to these requirements will result in disqualification:

• Artwork must fit a 3.4" x 2.15" library card canvas.
  • Helpful Hint: Your design can be larger than a library card, just make sure it can be resized to fit a 3.4" x 2.15" space without losing key details.

• The artwork must be the participant’s own creation. No copyrighted or licensed images.
• Each participant may submit one (1) entry per format. Artists are permitted to submit one entry each in the traditional and digital categories.

• Content must be appropriate for general audiences.

• All submissions must include:
  • Artist’s full name and age
  • Contact information: phone number and/or email address

Additional Requirements for Digital Entries:

• To preserve the integrity of original artistic expression, submissions must not incorporate any elements generated or enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI), including but not limited to image generators, style transfer tools, or automated editing software. 

• For the design to fit on a library card (3.4-inch width x 2.15-inch height) designs must adhere to a 1.6:1 aspect ratio.

How to Submit your Artwork:

Please provide your artwork and a completed entry form in one of the following ways:

   1. Drop-off: Bring your artwork to any participating library in Yavapai County during regular operating hours.

   2. Mail-in: Send your artwork to the following address:

Winners will be announced October 15, 2025.

One winner will be chosen from each of the five categories:

• Ages 5-8   • Ages 9-12   • Ages 13-17   • Adults (Ages 18 & Up)
• Digital Designs (Open to all ages)
