Black Canyon City Community Library to Close for Parking Lot Renovations October 28

Black Canyon City Community Library to Close for Parking Lot Renovations October 28

The Black Canyon City Community Library will be temporarily closed starting Tuesday, October 28, for parking lot renovations aimed at enhancing accessibility and improving the overall parking conditions. Although the library is usually closed on Mondays, the parking lot will also be unavailable on Monday, October 27.

During the closure, all in-person services, including book returns, will be unavailable. Items due during this time will have their return dates extended to account for the closure.

Renovations are expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 29, with normal operating hours resuming Thursday, October 30. In addition to the October 28–29 closure, the library will close early on Friday, October 31, at 4:00 p.m. Staff members will be participating in the local Trunk or Treat event, and we invite families to join us for the festivities.

While the library is closed, patrons are encouraged to explore the library’s online catalog, e-book services, and other digital resources at:

We appreciate our patrons’ understanding and support during these improvements.
