About the Yavapai County Free Library District

The Yavapai County Free Library District (YCFLD) provides full support services to fifteen branch libraries, most in unincorporated communities. A Special District created by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, YCFLD was established in 1987.

The District also partially funds individual municipal libraries and the Yavapai Library Network (YLN), a consortium of 50+ public, academic, school and museum libraries across Yavapai County. YCFLD coordinates the countywide sharing of library materials among all YLN member libraries.

Mission

The Yavapai County Free Library District provides library materials and services to meet the informational, cultural, and recreational needs of all residents of Yavapai County through our branch libraries, our affiliates, and the Yavapai Library Network.

Our values are:
Service • Leadership • Responsibility • Professionalism

YCFLD Annual Reports

Every year we prepare a report to look at how each of the District's branches is performing and the value delivered by the District as a whole. We want patrons, staff, taxpayers, and stakeholders to know how tax money is being spent.
